Sustainability is beneficial to everyone and we have taken it upon ourselves to be more sustainable in the way we move forward. Jerelyn Creado® Shoes only works with tanneries that are audited by the Leather Working Group (LWG). All the leather sourced and used in our collections are Gold Certified by the LWG.
Aside from using sustainable sourced leather we also make sure to reduce waste as much as possible where possibile by only ordering material that is required for production therefore working with suppliers that have no specific minimum quantities.
Jerelyn has always been immersed in the world of fashion, having grown up in a family of skilled dressmakers. Her fascination with shoes began at a tender age when she slipped into a pair of her aunt’s heels. This early encounter ignited her creative spark, leading her to design and craft her first pair of sandals during art class. Her passion for fashion evolved into a profound appreciation for design as a vibrant expression of art, emotion, power, personality, and status.
Though her journey initially took her along diverse paths, her unwavering love for shoe design always lingered in the background, patiently guiding her back to her true calling. Throughout her experiences, Jerelyn has been a diligent collector of inspiration, which she intricately weaves into the fabric of her designs, bringing her footwear creations to life with elegance and style.
